KONDRÈ RECIPE:
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 30 – 45 minutes
Post-Cooking time to get a brown Sauce: 5 – 10 minutes
Total Cooking Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:
- 150 g Mbànte Kondrè Seasoning (Les pots de Mamayo)
- 2 kg of green Plantain
- 500g of Meat (Beef, Oxtail, Goat…a meat of your choice. Preference: Wild meat)
- Water 750 ml to 1000 ml
- Optional: Onions, salt and Pepper
Note: For 4 to 6 persons or more you can use the whole Seasoning Jar (330 g) and double the ingredients above.
PREPARATION KONDRÈ – PROPOSAL 1 – MOM’s Recipe:
- Bring all ingredients (plantains, meat, Kondrè Seasoning and water) into a pot.
- Let it cook until the sauce turns to a dark brown color.
Optional: Add salt and pepper to your taste.
PREPARATION KONDRÈ – PROPOSAL 2:
- Fry well-cleaned meat and onions in a pot for 10 minutes.
- Then add your Kondrè Seasoning to the preparation.
- Add your unripe plantains and water then cook all together until the sauce is dark brown in color.
Optional: Add salt and pepper to your taste.
KONDRÈ SEASONING as MARINADE:
You can use the Kondrè Seasoning as well to marinade your meat for Grill, particularly for Wild Meat.
